Agent Six instead of Agent Zero?

A few years ago when you thought of dynamic scorers in the NBA a few names came to mind like Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers or the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade. The same could be said of today as both of these players are amongst the best scorers in the league, of course you now have to add LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony above both Kobe and Wade, but all of them are arguably the best scorers in the league today. The one player you don’t hear about blowing up the stat sheet and lighting up the scoreboard anymore is Gilbert Arenas or Agent Zero as he likes to be called.

LeBron James to Return Friday Against 76ers

There are only a handful of weeks left in the NBA regular season and the title contending teams around the league are starting to get bitten by the injury bug, especially the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Fortunately for the Cleveland Cavaliers, they have rarely had to deal with injury problems to key players, most notably LeBron James who has been able to stay healthy for the majority of his career. The second half of the NBA season has been rough for the Cavs though as they first have had to play without their starting center Shaquille O’Neal who suffered a finger injury which will keep him out the rest of the regular season.

There is no doubting that the Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the best teams in the NBA right now, if not the best, but without LeBron in the lineup the Cavs have noticeably struggled which makes many people wonder if LeBron isn’t on top of his game

Jason Kidd Leads Mavs to 13th Straight Win

The Dallas Mavericks came into this NBA season basically being considered a good team, but not a great team in comparison to the up and coming Denver Nuggets and the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers.

In the offseason, the Mavs witnessed all the big dogs around the league like the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavs, Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic upgrading their already dominate rosters with All-Star caliber players.

The defending champs lost Trevor Ariza to Houston Rockets through free agency, but ended up signing Ron Artest as a replacement, which some people believe was an upgrade. So far the signing has paid off even though Artest isn’t putting up the kind of numbers he was with the Rockets.

Kobe Nails Sixth Game-Winning Shot of the Season Against Raptors

Despite the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers struggling as of late with three straight losses coming into Tuesday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors, it would be hard to argue that Kobe Bryant and company haven’t been the one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the NBA this season.

When Kobe Bryant sat out basically the entire month of the February with an ankle sprain, amongst other injuries, the Lakers played brilliantly without their superstar winning four of the five games they played without the Black Mamba. The only loss came against their hated rivals in the Boston Celtics which was decided by just one point after Derek Fisher missed a last second shot.

Derek Anderson Gets the Boot in Cleveland Obviously the Cleveland Browns long-term plan was to have Brady Quinn as the starter behind center eventually, but they were planning on to write out the Derek Anderson hot streak which only basically lasted one season.

Cavs Top Spurs without LeBron Much like the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers without Kobe Bryant, Cleveland Cavaliers have seldom had to play without their superstar in LeBron James.

Miami Heat Hold Off Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in Overtime Victory Even with a game-high 39 points, Kobe Bryant wasn't able to lead the Lakers to victory as Dwyane Wade was able to get his team on track in the overtime victory 114-111 and get the Miami Heat back to .500 at 31-31 heading into their Southeast division showdown with the Atlanta Hawks.

Michael Finley Signs with the Boston Celtics Michael Finley was by no means a dominant player in this league when he was on his game with the Dallas Mavericks earlier in his NBA career, but is a solid complementary player at the shooting guard position with the ability to hurt you in the paint with his patent powerful drop step dunks and a good outside shot.
