Top 10 Worst Sports Media Personalities

There are so few respectable sports personalities out there that this list could actually be a few dozen long. But these are the ten worst. The absolute, nightmarish worst.

10. Janet Eagleson

Anyone who knows anything, whatsoever, about hockey knows that the Yahoo fantasy syndicate is completely devoid of any whiff of hockey knowledge. Though she is largely unknown and completely insignificant, she pisses me off. A lot. Janet Eagelson knows absolutely nothing about hockey and writes with a “sassy ‘tude” that would make you think she has a clue. She does not. Beat it geek.

9. Shannon Sharpe

Marbles in mouth. Jibber jabber non-sense. I sincerely have no idea what he is talking about more than half the time. No thank you.

Colorado +177 over DETROIT

Though this rivalry has lost its luster over the past few seasons, the Avs have come out skating like hell this season with a 5-1-1 record (tops in the Northwest Division). The Wings, on the other hand, have yet to find their stride and have stumbled to a mediocre 3-3 start. Detroit’s goaltending has been absolutely terrible early on, as Chris Osgood (a notorious regular season bed wetter) has posted a 3.31 goals against and a kind-of-disgusting .881 save percentage. On the flipside, Colorado’s new backstop, Craig Anderson, has demonstrated why he should’ve been a starting goaltender ages ago, with an arousing 1.99 GAA and .940 save percentage.
