With Pau Gasol out and Kobe Bryant suffering an injured finger, Andrew Bynum decided to take matters into his own hands.
The Los Angeles Lakers center scored 11 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter to help his team rally to an 88-79 win over the Houston Rockets Tuesday night for their fourth consecutive victory.
“I take pride in being a strong sixth man,” Bynum said. “I feel like when I have a good rebounding game I play better.”
Of course, without Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady, the Rockets aren’t really the Rockets.
Nevermind, I’m not that impressed.
The Lakers will attempt to continue their winning ways this evening against the cross-town Clippers, who are a 5-point underdog.
