Alomar was a shoe in, there's absolutely no reason whatsoever why he shouldn't be in this year. 2. Blyleven also should be in, and if this vote was any indication, he'll be in next year. 3. One of those 5 blank ballots was Jay Mariotti, who is a complete moron, so that one isn't much of a surprise. 4. Edgar Martinez did way better than I would've expected, Fred McGriff did much worse than I expected, I mention them because besides Alomar (and Barry Larkin), I believe those are the only 2 first year candidates who should one day go in, of course, those 4 are the only first year-ers who will be on it again next year. 5. I'm very happy for Dawson, but I think even he would like to be known as part of the class of '10, and not *the* class of '10. 6. You write some great stuff, I read it often :) Yeah….
