So much for another magical Super Bowl run for the Dallas Cowboys. The Wade Phillips and Tony Romo show was canceled by the Minnesota Vikings today. Graybeard Brett Favre had fun out there and played like only Brett Favre can play in disposing of the ‘Boys, 34-3.

It was another ho-hummer of a game, which has been par for the course in these playoffs. However, the opportunity to see Tony Romo deliver his unique brand of spaz-like football should never be missed. He fumbled three times, threw an awful interception and looked beleaguered most of the day.

Here’s a prime example:

Hey, at least the Cowboys were able to win one playoff matchup before doing their annual face-plant. I’m sure in Jerry Jones’ feeble mind that’s more than enough to justify handing Wade a five-year extension and Romo some oil-rich acreage in West Texas. Ya know, cause Jerry is smart like that.
