Preview: The New York Jets will head to Pittsburgh and look to do what they did during week 15, and come away with a road win. This game means much more, as the winner will play in the Super Bowl against either the Packers or the Bears.

The Jets, in the postseason came away with a field goal in the final seconds to down Peyton Manning and the Colts. Last week, the Jets, despite all the trash talk went to Foxboro and beat their longtime rival – New England Patriots. The Jets held quarterback Tom Brady in check, including an early interception. Offensively, quarterback Mark Sanchez had an excellent game, throwing for three touchdowns and just shy of 200 yards. Shonn Greene sealed the deal in the win for the Jets with a late touchdown run.

The Steelers want to avoid what happened in week 15, where Brad Smith, Nick Folk and Mark Sanchez led the Jets in the win. Pittsburgh since that point have won three straight games, including a postseason win over the Ravens on Saturday. After trailing 21-7 at halftime, Pittsburgh scored 24 second half points to down their longtime rivals. Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers quarterback threw for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. Former Illinois running back Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 2 touchdowns in the win.
