Golf’s second major gets under way this Thursday as the US Open comes back to Congressional Country Club outside Washington, DC. Lee Westwood, ranked No. 2 in the world, is a slight favorite at 11/1, narrowly ahead of the man who overtook him as World No. 1, Luke Donald. Phil Mickelson is the favorite among the Americans, and has more major titles than anyone in the field.
With Tiger Woods out of the tournament because of nagging leg injuries, will Westwood or Donald win his first major?
Here’s your 2011 US Open odds for all the top competitors:
- Lee Westwood, England (2) 11/1
