Rory McIlroy moved to No. 2 in the world rankings with his win last week in Hong Kong, and gave himself a chance to win the European Tour’s money title if he can catch Luke Donald this week at the European Tour’s season-ending Dubai World Championship. Rory is the 5/1 favorite to win the tournament, but to win the money title he also needs Donald to finish worse than a two-way tie for ninth.

Donald is still a prohibitive 1/20 favorite to win the money title, with Rory at 8/1 to win the money title. Donald has already won the PGA Tour’s money title and would become the first golfer ever to win the money title on both tours in the same year.

World No. 3 Lee Westwood is also coming off a win last week at the 12-man Nedbank Golf Challenge, and he’s just behind Rory in the odds to win the tournament this week at 11/2. Donald is next at 10/1.
