Germany’s Martin Kaymer continued his fall down the world rankings this week, as the former World No. 1 dropped to No. 4 behind US Open winner Rory McIlroy. Still, Kaymer is a 10/1 favorite to win this week’s Alstom Open de France, an event he won in 2009. He’ll face a relatively strong field that includes Bubba Watson and a handful of other players from the 2011 Ryder Cup.
Here are your 2011 Alstom Open de France odds to win and to finish in the top 10 for the top contenders in the field:
- Martin Kaymer, Germany (4) 10/1 to win, 11/10 to finish in the top 10
- Peter Hanson, Sweden (41) 14/1 to win, 3/2 to finish in the top 10
- Matteo Manassero, Italy (29) 18/1 to win, 9/5 to finish in the top 10
- Bubba Watson, USA (12) 20/1 to win, 2/1 to finish in the top 10
- Francesco Molinari, Italy (22) 20/1 to win, 9/5 to finish in the top 10
Odds to win for some other notables in the field:
- Pablo Larrazabal, Spain (94) 25/1 – won last week in Munich and won here in 2008
- Miguel Angel Jimenez, Spain (27) 40/1 – defending champion here
- Edoardo Molinari, Italy (35) 50/1
- Colin Montgomerie, England (302) 125/1 – won here in 2000
