Preview: The North Carolina Tar Heels will play in a bowl game that will essentially be seen as a road game. The Tar Heels will take on the Tennessee Volunteers in Nashville, as part of the Music City Bowl.

The Tar Heels come into the game with a 7-5 record. North Carolina lost two of their last three games; to Virginia Tech and North Carolina State to end the regular season. The Tar Heels finished tied in third in the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
